We thank you for having chosen a KAMAL product & for your continuing trust in us. KAMAL promises quality of product & service to make your experience with the product delightful.
All KAMAL products, sold in India, are warranted to be free of defects in the material and workmanship for the period mentioned below beginning from the date of purchase.
Warranty includes repairing of defective product / part/s arising due to manufacturing defect and does not apply to damage resulting from normal wear & tear, abnormal use, leakage due to dirt / sediments / impurities in water supply, hardness or salinity in water, misuse, improper use or installation, abuse, neglect or accident. The Product may consist of several different parts and different parts may be covered by a different Warranty Period as detailed in the below table and points beneath.

· All Internal fittings of the faucets have 2-year warranty in residential and 1 Year in commercial application.
· Warranty on Flexible Spout including its head and other parts, is limited to 1 Year in Residential use and 6 Months in Commercial Application.
· For surface colour issues (Black, White, Gold etc.) and surface galvanic issues (Chrome Plating, Nickel Plating, Gold Plating etc.) the warranty term shall in any case be restricted to 1 year.
During the Warranty Period if the defect is due to defects in the material or workmanship, KAMAL or its Authorized Sales / Service Representative will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace free of cost, any defective component or part of the product, subject to the terms and conditions described below:
Terms and Conditions:
1. This Warranty is confined to first purchaser of the product only (consumer).
2. Kamal liability under any circumstances is limited to the purchase value of the product (s).
3. Warranty period is validated from date of purchase of the unit and can only be availed on producing the valid proof of purchase and warranty card. Customers are therefore required to keep original invoice and warranty card safely.
- In the event of repair/replacement of any part/s of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the un-repaired period of warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair/ replacement and in transit, whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.
- Company may at its discretion replace the faulty part (s) with functionally new operative part(s).
- In case of any damage to the product / customer abuse/ repairs by un-authorized personnel/ misuse detected/ by the Authorized Service Centre personnel, the warranty conditions are not applicable and repairs will be done subject to availability of parts and on a chargeable basis only.
- Replacement of parts would be purely at the discretion of KAMAL alone. In case the replacement of the entire unit is being made, (subject to the sole discretion of KAMAL), the same model shall be replaced and in the event such model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the model of price equivalent at the time of purchase.
- Damage of any product or parts thereof due to any of the following causes will not be covered under this warranty.
- User's or it's agent's misuse, improper use, negligence, accident or faulty installation
- Improper maintenance of the product by not abiding to the Customer Guidelines as detailed afterwards.
- Dirt, lime-scale, impurities in water supply
- Unauthorized alterations to the products.
- Normal wear & tear.
- Hardness or salinity in water
- While the company will make every effort to carry out repairs at the earliest, it however is made expressly clear that the company is under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.
- This warranty shall not cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss to property or life arising directly or indirectly out of any defect in the KAMAL Products. The company's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of defective parts only under the warranty period.
- The warranty doesn't cover components like Washer, Rubbers, Springs and other Plastic Items.
- The warranty does not cover any accessories external to the product. After completion on one year, in case/s other than manufacturing defects are found in KAMAL Products, standard labour and parts charges will be collected from customers, as per prevailing rates of the company.
- Kamal does not cover the warranty for installation or any other labour charges associated with the job work or re-installation of Kamal products
- In case where the customer cites a defect in the product and after inspection the same is found to be outside the warranty terms the company reserves the right to recover inspection fee and courier charges from the customer along with charges for such part (s) etc which are replaced to make it suitable for use.
- This warranty shall be governed by the laws of India and will be subject to the Jurisdiction of Courts in New Delhi, India with regards to any dispute arising out of the warranty or the sale of the product. The provisions of the limited warranty shall be interpreted and governed pursuant to the laws of India.
This warranty is not applicable in following cases:
1. Proof of purchase, invoice in Original and/or Warranty Card is not shown to company authorized service personnel at the time of repair. In such cases service will still be rendered however it will be on chargeable basis as per the standard rates of labour and/or parts (as the case may be), prevailing at that point of time.
2. Repair work is carried out by person/agency other than the authorized company personnel or the product is not installed/used according to the instructions given in instruction/installation manual.
3. Site conditions, where the product is installed, does not confirm to the recommended operating conditions of KAMAL Products.
4. Defect caused by improper use, as determined by the company authorized service personnel. The final authority for such decision shall lie with KAMAL and its authorised service personnel
5. Defect is caused due to cause beyond control like lightning, acts of God, abnormal water supply/pressure or while in transit from dealer's outlet to purchaser's residence.
6. Damage to the product or any part/s due to transportation or shifting is not covered by warranty.
7. This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period even if the product may not be in use for any time during the warranty period for any reason.
- In case of conflict of opinion, the final decision should be vested with KAMAL.
Customer Guidelines
- To ensure uninterrupted pressure of water, it is advisable to keep the pipelines straight with minimum number of bends, which will support smooth flow of water.
- All the supply lines must have vent pipes. These vent pipes help in removing air-locking in the water supply to give a smooth flow of water from the fittings. Use 25 mm pipeline rather than 20 mm which will help in overcoming scaling inside the pipelines and will allow sufficient space for the water to flow.
- Prior to plastering or fixing tiles, test the working of all the installed concealed fittings on a high pressure to check for leakage insert, if any.
- Clean the aerators provided in the items at regular intervals for a perfect foam flow of water from the fittings.
- Place the outlet point in the overhead tank at least 25 cm above the ground level of the tank. This prevents the flow of foreign particles, sand etc., along with water supply into the fittings and thereby prevents the possible damage to the working parts. Clean the tank thoroughly before the supply starts. It is suggested that the overhead tank must be cleaned at regular intervals to avoid inflow of foreign particles.
- Clean the fittings regularly with normal soap or chalk powder to remove scaling or stains. Do not use strong detergents as this may cause damage to the chromium finish used on all KAMAL products.
- Do not use harsh cleaning agents containing abrasives and acid. Instead, use a soft sponge or wet cloth with soapy water or diluted vinegar to protect the colour coated finish.
- To protect the fine finish of fittings from dirt, stains and other damages during construction, cover them with cloth or polypack after their installation, till they come into actual use.
- It is suggested that centre to centre distance from Hot & Cold inlet for all types of wall mounted mixtures should be maintained at 150+/-10 mm where any of our wall mixers from different ranges can be easily installed without any problem.
